MediaStar Systems, developer of the powerful MediaStar range of IPTV, streaming and digital signage solutions, will be showing a brand new addition to its portfolio at InfoComm. The MediaStar Lectern Encoder is set to revolutionise the delivery of live lectures across multiple sites, putting simple streaming control in the hands of the presenter through an easy to use push button device.
The new solution, which will be demonstrated on MediaStar's stand at Infocomm (Booth 715), also delivers the same simple push button process for capturing local storage of the lecture onto a USB device.
The MediaStar Lectern Encoder (786) is a robust, solid-state standalone unit with MPEG2/H264 encoding capability. It features composite, component, HDMI and SDI inputs and will automatically scan these to stream the first video signal that it detects. Configuration and control are facilitated by recessed selection buttons and the unit’s front panel has a high visibility OLED display. Alternatively, the full range of controls can be remotely accessed via simple-to-use web pages.
Shaun Oxenham, CEO at MediaStar Systems, said: “This is the first time that we will be showing the new Lectern Encoder, which puts complete and straightforward control in the hands of the presenter, who can be confident knowing that he or she can stream, or record the event, across many different locations simultaneously.”
Also on the MediaStar stand at InfoComm will be new features now available for the MediaStar Media Players, Decoders and Chassis products, and demonstrations of MediaStar’s powerful digital signage content creation software, Creator, which works seamlessly with the MediaStar Media Player.
The MediaStar range provides TV/AV and multimedia distribution products primarily for medium to large enterprises, which require future-proof, stable and proven solutions for live TV, corporate communications, multicasts, training and digital signage.
